There are some managers who try to justify their own job security by making decisions and doing the work that their employees should be doing. These are the same managers who complain about how busy they are running around and putting out fires and how their employees sit around and wait to be told and have bad attitudes. Leaders, when you choose not to empower and delegate, you are denying yourself and denying employees the opportunity to grow and develop.
